so here’s my dish …
My career began in the culinary arts at the age of 20,
creating taste-bud friendly cuisine on private charter yachts in
the USVI and BVI for guests around the world.
A Degree from the Culinary Institute of Bergen, Norway,
an entrepreneurial edge, eye for design and marketing savvy
came in handy with the start-up of one of Norway’s’ top Espresso Bars to date.
Upon return to New York City I teamed up with some
top name food publications and photographers including
Martha Stewart Living TV/Print & Bon Appetit ; in R&D, testing and food styling.
After years of food and styling, Creatability Inc.,
a Best of New York creative play-space was born.
The “out of the box” approach to business and marketing
resulted in on-air segments as a guest designer on national TV;
Best of NY awards, in addition to companies such as
Nike and Nickelodeon seeking out creative ideas and concepts.
I believe that Innovation, organized planning and
motivational leadership infused with a
positive perspective and a little spice is
the recipe for all great success.
Paying it forward …
Making sure bellies are full in times of emergency
I act as the Mass Feeding Chair for the American Red Cross
Southeastern Virginia Region.
Some of the best time in the kitchen for me was spent from
2008 - 2010 as a volunteer and part-time Kitchen Manager
at the JCOC www.jcoc.org.
